I’m Iyanuoluwa Ilesanmi.

I help people make sense of what they want to say and turn it into content their audience can connect with.

Sometimes that means writing a website that explains a business clearly. Sometimes it means sitting down with a founder and finding the stories in the work they do every day.

How I got here.

2020Working with clients since

I began exploring online work in 2019 and started working with clients in 2020. Since then, I’ve worked with businesses and professional organisations on their content, taking on both the thinking behind the message and the work of creating it.

That experience has included ongoing content and marketing support for Testing Academy, a UK training provider, and conference promotion for the Association of Nigerian Software Testers. I’ve also written website content for brands including Earlybrite and Diamond Adverts.

I’m the Co-founder and Chief Operations Manager of Pluz Media, where I oversee our team’s work on client projects alongside my own writing responsibilities.

My curiosity led me here.

What interests me is finding the connection between what you want to communicate and what matters to the person reading it.

I’m curious about how people think. Psychology and philosophy interest me, particularly the way people interpret a message and decide whether it matters to them.

That curiosity shapes my writing. I enjoy finding a familiar example or a useful metaphor that makes a difficult idea easier to understand. The aim is to help the reader understand the value of what you’re saying and feel ready to take the next step.

My experience also includes design and short video editing. That means I can help carry an idea beyond the written copy into the content people actually see.

Understand the goal

Before I write, I want to understand what you’re trying to achieve. I also want to know who you’re speaking to and what they need from you.

Find the right words

From there, I help shape the message and create the content around it. Your voice matters throughout. The words should feel like something you would say and be useful to the people you want to reach.

Agree on the support

I can work with you on a defined project or provide ongoing content support. We’ll agree on the scope so you know what I’m taking responsibility for.

My background

I hold a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Olabisi Onabanjo University, completed in 2024. I’ve also continued learning through training in marketing and social media, alongside business management and leadership.

My Christian faith is an important part of my life. I serve as an associate pastor and enjoy sharing the Word of God.
