HEADS UP.THIS IS ABOUT ME.
Hey there,
My name is Iyanuoluwa Ilesanmi.
I’m one very unserious guy who takes certain things very seriously. My walk with God is one of them. So is how we think and what we do with our lives.
I’m a writer, creator and associate pastor. I care deeply about helping people understand who they are and live with intention.

A little backstory
Towards the end of 2019, a painful conversation with my then-girlfriend forced me to confront a question I’d been avoiding: what was I doing with my life?
The painful part was that I didn’t have much of an answer.
So I started exploring online work. I tried writing, design and video editing before finding my way into content marketing. What began as an attempt to prove a point became a desire to understand myself and build something meaningful.
Along the way, my walk with God became more intentional. Listening to Apostle Joshua Selman’s teachings helped shape how I thought about my life and purpose. I began recognising that what God was developing in me could also help other people.
My faith and calling
I serve as an associate pastor, with a particular heart for young people. I want to help youth and young adults understand who they are in Christ and what He expects of them.
My teaching centres on who Christ is, what He has done and our reality in Him. I teach on faith and spiritual maturity, with a strong emphasis on studying Scripture and living a life that agrees with the Word of God.
One conviction runs through it all: we live from our salvation, not to earn it. We study the Scriptures and pray because of our reality in Christ, not to earn God’s love or righteousness. These things should flow from the life we have in Him.
That heart also finds expression through Activation Conference, Exegesis Conference and Deodenus, my discipleship platform.

Own your thoughts. Own your life.
I’m curious about the beliefs we build our lives around. Why do I believe this? Is this something I actually want, or something I’ve learnt to want?
For me, owning your thoughts means paying attention to what shapes you. Owning your life means taking responsibility for the choices you make from there.
That curiosity shapes my writing and creative work. I help people make sense of their ideas and find their own voice. I’m also documenting what I’m learning and the person I’m becoming.
This website is a record of that journey. You’re welcome to explore it with me.
